It has been a bumper start to the year for our new 11-storey, wellness and lifestyle-focused mixed-use development in Richmond, with permit approval achieved and residential builder, Ironside, appointed.
Together, these milestones mark an important step forward for The Brightly as the project moves from planning into delivery and our vision for a design-led residential community in Richmond begins to take shape.
Preparing to break ground
With approvals now secured, early works are already underway on site. Demolition has commenced, paving the way for construction to begin in April 2026, with completion anticipated in late 2027.
A considered addition to Richmond
Located in the heart of Richmond, The Brightly will deliver 100 residences, including a mix of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, and a limited collection of sub-penthouses and penthouses.
Designed by Cera Stribley, the architecture responds to Richmond’s distinctive urban character and surrounding infrastructure. A landscaped podium will help soften the building’s interface with the street while creating green spaces that connect the building with the neighbourhood.
The project is being delivered in partnership with Dexus Real Estate Partnership Fund 1 (DREP 1), combining development and investment expertise to bring a new residential offering to this well-connected inner-city location.
Wellness and lifestyle at the centre
Wellness has been a key consideration in shaping the resident experience at The Brightly. The development will include a dedicated wellness area with a hot magnesium pool, cold plunge, sauna and steam room — spaces designed to support relaxation and balance in the middle of the city.
Residents will also have access to rooftop garden spaces with views across Richmond and towards the Melbourne CBD, alongside private dining areas designed for entertaining and gathering with friends and neighbours.
At ground level, retail spaces will help activate the street and contribute to Richmond’s vibrant café and dining scene.
