Multi-million dollar playground opens for fun at Winterfield

Recently our project team, the Mayor of Ballarat and Winterfield families officially opened Winterfield Park.

Paying homage to Ballarat’s gold rush history with a poppet head tower, the play structure looks over the park which features hill access ropes, multiple slides, and spin point play equipment. A large oval, walking path, fitness equipment, sheltered BBQ area and toilet facilities make the park a place for residents of all ages to gather and foster community connection.

City of Ballarat – Council Mayor Cr Des Hudson OAM said the new park provides a place where residents can come together, enjoy the outdoors and create lasting memories.

“Winter Valley is a thriving community where families can grow and where neighbours can connect. It is fantastic to see this investment in our community and in the Ballarat West Growth Zone,” He said.

We’re thrilled to see families already loving this new addition to our Winterfield community.
