Goldfields Edition: Volume 1

Newsletter

This newsletter has been a long time coming. Delivering a newsletter that’s interesting enough to actually want to read can be a tricky task.

What we don’t want to do is send you a newsletter that only serves to clog your inbox. What we want to do is bring you a short collection of property, design, business and lifestyle stories that we hope you find compelling, informative and even occasionally inspiring.

Expect a local and global approach, we’re interested in what’s happening in our neighbourhood but also find inspiration from all corners of the globe.

In Edition 1 we step inside Sydney’s newest landmark, the Capella hotel, designed by Make architects and recently opened after a seven year restoration and renovation that brings together modern luxury and a deep sense of Australia’s heritage. We look at Australia’s rental crisis, a deepening problem affecting many Australians – with no clear end in sight.  We explore a new way of office working in Seoul with South Korean media company, JTBC, who are taking flexible working literally, and then we introduce you to our newly completed rooftop bar atop Goldfields House, Beverly. And, we indulge in a short history lesson of the Negroni – currently enjoying a fever-pitch renaissance amongst the social set, and a favourite amongst the Goldfields team.
